First, at 48 pages, it is a stretch to call this a book. I was surprised how small it was when I got it. It is literally just over 1/8" thick. But I decided to shake off the disappointment that it wasn't what I consider a book, and give it a chance. Maybe it was 48 pages of rich content. Well, not so much. The writing is ok, but certainly not professional. It was more like someone who has some knowledge of a subject talking to someone else about what they know. While some of the neighborly advice was ok, it certainly wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped it would be. This book was an ok book for specifically enabling. It is shorter than I would like for the price tag. It felt like i finished reading it in less than 30 minutes. It did not consider speaking about why your child may be acting that way besides a parent enabling and how to stop providing. Traits like a kid having video game addiction, phone addiction, laziness, or a lack of social skills was not spoken of. Enabling is a big part but it was short because it didn't speak about the above topics and how to remove those qualities.
